Bhikku-ji, maybe you should read "Dawn to Decadence" by Jacques Barzun (2000) or COSRIMS (ed.) "The Mathematical Sciences - A collection of essays" (1969) or William Dunham "The Calculus Gallery -Masterpieces from Newton to Lebesgue" or Major Gen. Gurcharan Singh: "A Military History of Ancient India" (2000) The first one is History, the second is Mathematics, the third is History of Mathematics and the fourth, Mathematics of History! PraNAms to all of a lighter vein. profvk Prof. V.
