Archives - Suggestions needed for reorganizing storage & retrieval

An Appeal to all members:

 

As we all know, for more than a month and a half now, the

mirror archives has not been working. While it was, it was

being used very heavily and was felt to be most convenient.

As of now it appears the present escribe archives system

has gone beyond repair.

 

We should be able to think of other alternatives for

storing our archives by a system that has a good search

engine and which is reliable.

 

First of all we need volunteers to have all our mails

assembled and archived at one accessible site. The

Moderators would appreciate it if some of our members

could volunteer to take up this project. Also welcome are

suggestions of ways to locate another powerful site for

the archive.
