Guest guest
Hi everybody. Following the belief that message is meaningless in the space of time between the emissary and the recipient, i'll allow myself to post this message. I don't mean to superimpose my points of view or disregard anything else anyone may have said, mainly because mostly everyone in here possesses higher degrees of objective knowledge of the subject than me. But the subjective part, message being meaningless, may gain meaning and significance as of it's interpretation. I believe now that the two discussions have merged, since thru time avydia life reaches it's end, and pushes us, rational witnessess of maya to the dilemma of reincarnation. In my point of view, such dilemma (reincarnation) is a step into speculation, leading to the formation of illusory goals (be they true or false) which ultimately lead to bondage and duality. Seeking liberation and God in order to avoid reincarnation, or even gain superpowers and perform miracles (as seems to me to be the goal of a number of Hare Krishna's, to make one's will god's will and vice versa), encompasses duality, for it encompasses causality (the first don't exist without the latter, even though both are subjective). Also in my interpretation, refered to in the scriptures as the last snare of Maya. It's easy to see the merging points between the dilemma of reincarnation and time. Simply put, there are no random numbers in the objective world. Ask a computer to generate a random number, and most of the time it will be programmed to run a function (nevermind how complex or otherwise) like a senoid curve, for instance, to the return value of the internal clock. Likewise, every word and objective rational element is permeated with time, time being an axle on possiblity at all times. Drive a computer to an operation without an end, and it will freeze, performing it infinitely, like let's say, returning the value of "pi" to an endless decimal value. That is the seam between time and realisation to me. Where does the computer goes when operations have no end? Taking all into account, reincarnation and otherwise would fall out of the scope of advaita, or at least the need for it's knowledge, since they would only affect the rational and time subject part of a person (hence, the illusion, or subjects of maya). The need for realisation, may it be possible or not, is a present and timeless notion (or need), not a programmed goal. We don't schedule ourselves to be hungry, we simply feel it when our stomachs have been empty long enough. Seeking truth to find answers is causality, and would lead only to the answering of the questions, not necessarily to the finding of truth. In my view, the search for truth relates to the dissolution of the individual (the one that is afflicted by those questions of death etc, hence the one that asks the questions), not to the quenching of the individual's thirst for knowledge. Therefore, time is to be bypassed, along with it's transient and changing characteristics of birth, life and death. Now, to sum it all up, and for the sake of illustration (no duality intended here though...), here is a possible view of what the dilemma of death and reincarnation associated with time could mean. Having said that a computer sent to an infinite loop returns no results, even though still being subject to time and performing the operations, could also be another metaphoric form of looking to the end of illusory life. Considering the relative aspect of time and it's perceived spam, one might ask, in a situation of an infinite loop of information, how long does an instant takes to pass? Considering the cessation of rational thoughts in the brain thru the removal of electric impulses to be a very likely infinite loop producing situation (since the axle of time -expressed in the oscilation pattern of electric energy- is thorn from the equation prior to the conclusion of the operation) how long would the fraction of time before you die take? Possibly (many possiblities here, i know...) an infinite time spam, and given the complexity and nature of dreams, and the brains ability to generate situations, places, worlds, animals and people even with logic coherence all along, a dream like state could emerge, whereas you would be someonelse, subject to time in much the same way, carrying the notions acquired while you were alive, but not in a direct fashion, for you would be someone else, and the cicle would start over, an endless number of times, again and again and again. The cicle would only end when, out of knowledge, enlightment etc, you became able to realize what's been missing, therefore concluding the first operation itself, yielding conclusive results and falling out of the loop into the acceptance of the cessation of electric currents and time. Therefore, accepting the many possibilities presented here could also mean that the bearer of rational conscience and inference could be dead inside an infinite loop, blocked from ever reaching the next stage (which by no means should matter) until realisation is achieved. Advaita is an end in itself, not a means. Warm Regards... _____ Promoção Acesso Grátis: a cada hora navegada você acumula cupons e concorre a mais de 500 prêmios!
