Devi Saraswati resides on your Tongue

 

Sri Srimad-vagbhava-kutaika-svarupa-mukha-pankaja (LS)

 

— Her Lotus Face is the source of all Speech.

 

Shakti dances through your fingers

 

Sri Karanguli-nakhotapanna-Narayana-dasakrtih (LS)

 

10 avataras of Sri Vishnu emerge from Her fingernails to fight

Her battles against Forces of Darkness.

 

Yes ! The pen is mightier than the sword in dispelling 'darkness'

The French Philosopher, Pierre Teilhard De Chardin . once

commented ' No force is as great as an idea whose time has come '

 

and 'Tantric Advaita' is one such force ! It is about time we

recognized this 'force' ( shakti) while discussing Advaita !

— Supreme; none to equal or excel Her. (LS)

>From Her springs forth the breath of life, the power of thought and

all the senses, space, wind, light, and water, and earth, the great

supporter of all.

 

Fire is Her head, the sun and moon Her eyes, the compass points Her

ears. The revealed Vedas are Her word. The wind is Her breath, Her

heart is the all. From Her feet proceeded the earth. In truth, She is

the inner atman of all beings.

( madgataprAnah – Prana also means the life force and vital airs.

Every pulsation, movement in or of my body is She. My whole body

and the life processes going on in or on it is, therefore, She.

Each batting of the eyelid, each muscular twitch, sensation of the

gastric fire, every movement, everything is She. My life is She.

There is a beautiful hint here for meditators to visualize the Devi

or the Lord in the passage and spreading of their breath throughout

every particle of the body. Each inhalation and expiration is an

offering unto Consciousness (She) by Consciousness (me). )

 

Yes! She is 'Muni Manasika Hamsini ' ( She sports as the True self in

the Heart of the sages )

 

and as per Vigyana Bhairava Tantra...

TRANSLATION

 

THE SUPREME SHAKTI whose nature is to create , constantly expresses

HERSELF upward in the form of exhalation , and downward in the form

of inhalation.

 

by steadily fixing the mind on either of the two spaces between the

breaths, one experiences the state of fulness of bhairava.

 

we all are always chanting the hamsa mantra right from

our 'womb' days...

 

The vijnana bhairava means the 'wisdom of bhairava' - it is

an 'agama' coming from the mouth of the supreme principle of the

universe, lord Shiva... here the guru is Bhairava and the disciple is

Bhairavi, the divine mother -shakti...

 

Hamsa mantra is a natural mantra...

 

Hamsa mantra is also known as ajapa gayathri... the lord himself

initiates us into this mantra when we are in our mother's womb.

 

 

AND Nair-ji, you conclude your brilliant commentary with these words

 

( teSAm tam buddhiyogam dadami….yena te mAm upayAnti - To those

described above, I grant them the ultimate knowledge whereby they

verily become Me. )

 

Yes! Indeed she is Kadi Vidya , Hadi Vidya and Sadi vidya !There are

3 main upasana mantras.The one which begins with the letter ka is

kadi, ha- hadi, sa-sadi.

Thank you Adi Ma for your nice words and beautiful quotes.

 

I am blessed to address you that way and I don't consider it a matter

of mere coincidence. It is Grace. It proves again and again that

Adi Ma is always around where I am.

 

My words may differ from traditional interpretation of the verses as

they are rooted on my personal experiences and contemplation. Yet, I

have taken care not to digress much from the traditional.

 

I try to see Her in everything inspite of my several short-comings.

I don't think I am ready yet for any sort of initition which demands

strict adherence to rules beyond my present capability. I am a

bundle of human failures and you know that more than any one else in

our List!

 

So, let Her wait. She is my mother and girl friend. I like Her to be

around and She is, I am firmly convinced, as the Truth of Advaita so

beautifully described by Her divine names on our Home Page by the

side of the author of Soundarya Lahari. Adi Ma, I am really in love.

 

Incidentally, do you know that, in my daily chanting of the

khadgamAla, I was till recenlty chanting Her name as

sarvashaparipUraka chakraswAmini. Only a few days ago did I suddenly

realize that I should say sarvAsha (with the 'va' elongated). Only

then does the name have the intended meaning. That proves again that

She is definitely waiting around for me to correct myself! The

correction has to come from Her. I will, therefore, keep calling for

the time being. There is an inexpressible beauty in it.
