I read this from the pen of x , no names no pack drill but a respected

figure.

 

 

"They (Vedas) are intuitional revelations of ecstatic souls who had the

vision of the Absolute. And, therefore, this vision-integral contains

every type of knowledge-physics, chemistry, biology, sociology,

mathematics, astronomy, alchemy, Ayurveda, military science and what not."

 

He does not add that it was also magnanimous of them to allow their

discovery to be made by Germans, British, French etc.

In all seriousness, the falling away from Sanathana Dharma will come about

more through the espousing of such manifest nonsense than the silly 'oh,

all is one' excuse that Dr.Morales is worried about.

There is often a very thin difference between things nonsense and

things profound. Who shall here differentiate between the two?

 

I am against all these inane assertions made by many people nowadays,

especially by Indians, that all the sciences like physics,

mathematics, biology, etc are contained in the Vedas, and that India

was very technologically advanced in the past. I believe this is

nonsense. I am (used to be) fairly familiar with the laws of

aerodynamics, being an aeronautical engineer myself, and I can say

confidently that the concept of circulation (which provides the lift

on an aircraft wing) as given by the line integral of the tangential

velocity of the fluid over the contour of the airfoil is a concept

that is not contained in the Vedas.

 

Now here is a paradox. I believe that sciences like physics,

mathematics, biology, etc are contained in the Vedas. I would,

however, prefer to not discuss the topic here. It is not required for

discussing Advaita.
