Bhakthi & Jnana ---Sri Hanuman the Great!

God is a cosmic computer once you send a message he will respond. Once you

send a message to god with your sincere prayers god will respond. Please

do not go on guru hunting. There is no use. God will send you the right

person when you pray sincerely. Hanuman was serving Sugreeva who was the

son of surya devata or the representaitive of knowledge. No ashram, no

guru's greatness will ultimately lift you, it is your greatness that will

lift you.

 

Sarvam kaluhitam brahma, ishavasyam idham Sarvam

 

The moment you use the word God then immediately the name and form is

invoked and the power of the generator operator and destroyer is invoked.

When the children fight the parents join the fray. The children forget and

start

playing but the parents still continue the fight. The mahatmas are child

like who have minds that are very innocent and that has no fear.

 

Little devotion and little jnana is not a choice. Only knowledge is the

path.

Bhajagovindam means the bhajan of govinda not artha kama and dharma.

Just singing and dancing will not help.

 

Pramana is the valid means of knowledge. You cannot say the color of

something with your ears. The eyes are the pramana for color. The

connection of jnana and bhakthi, if you do not surrender to your eyes, do

you get the knowledge of the color of the object? If you do not surrender

to the teaching do you get the knowledge of the truth? In this case your

pramana is outside that is all. That is bhaktha, bhaktha to the pramana.

That is devotion. That is bhaja and not just jumping up and down and

singing in the highest voice.

 

Shastra pramana budhi is the bhaktha and that is exactly what Hanuman has.

Hanuman has the tremendous presence of mind. It comes only with his

commitment to truth and he is a pramana bhaktha. A sadhaka never waits for

anything. Always do it and do it now. When Hanuman was looking for

Sanjeevini herb he could not find the right place to look for it. He

immediately, without wasting time, lifted the whole mountain and brought

it to Lakshmana and Rama. Presence of mind is important part for a

sadhaka.

 

Thus hanuman's life is a great message for a sadhaka who is seriously into

knowing the truth. Prayer is a blind way of submitting without knowledge.

It is really not blind but a kind of preparation before you learn the

advanced part. It only prepares you for the teaching. All the people pray

for so many things including things such as power and the physical

capabilities. The real presence of mind is in seeking what is really

needed. The thing that is needed for all people is the knowledge of the

truth.

 

Ultimate Guru is our own self only, and we know that only by the guidance

of SadGuru! So Bhakthi and Jnana both are required, and that too sincerely.
