Hari OM!

Dear All,

No where in the world but only in India people travel place to place to see

the rivers, and to see the temples, and worship, they take pain for days

trave

lling in rail and by road, and nowadays, by air also.

Why this is so?? Because of the culture we have in our own Bharat.

It cannot be seperated by anybody, even if they change their religion also

they cannot forget the culture, it is in their blood. For example the velan-

kanni Matha in Tamilnadu, any one seeing that temple, Oh sorry that church

they say it is a Hindu temple.

And same like Music, arts, etc etc.. Why this all because of Bhakthi and

Jnana

Periavaa, Sri Chandra Sekhara Saraswathi Swamigal of Kanchi use to say.

The south and North is most sacred, we have Kasi, in South we

have Rameswaram. So country's unity is maintained, the people will travel

from North to South and East to west, so they can know each other,

previously

when there are no 5 star Hotels and these kind of infrastructure facilites

people use to stay in some houses as guests, so there is a friendship

developed

that way, and when they go to Kasi they stay there.

Suppose if we step on a book without our knowledge we will automatically do

Namaskaram to the book is it not, even if you are converted. All these

actions

are because of the sanctity in our culture.

River Ganga is the symbol of Jnanam and River Yamuna is the symbol of

Bhakthi.

And when Ganga and Yamuna joins it become a merger of Jnana and Bhakthi

under these values only all the art forms and culture are created.

Whatever is the most nearest to us we want to go away from that, we never

want to accept the nearness of the nearest. Someone asked the Lord, you

created all these

Human beings, nature, stars, sky, moon, etc etc, and finally where are you

going to settle down he said I have the safest place to live, and he said

that is in the Human heart,(of course not the physcial heart) but the

spiritual heart, so that it is nearest of the nearest but no one notices, we

always take it for granted.

Knowledge path is not like walking on a knife, we will never fall on that

path even if we fall that will be for our benefit only, any thing not known

makes a curiosity until it is fully known, after knowing it completely then

the value of that knowledge becomes granted, but the True knowledge is not

that way, We become the the knower of the knower.

Bhakti helps us to reach that state. Knowledge and Bhakthi are the two wings

of the same bird, with only one wing, bird cannot fly, both are necessary

and should be on equal motion and uniformity, so that flying will be

effortless!

.. Yad yad aacarati sreshtah, tad tad eva itaro janah. As the Gita puts it,

consistency of purpose and a spirit of dedication and, if necessary,

sacrifice, should characterize the new spirit.
