Guest guest
Dear Nair-ji , How empowered i feel today- one by one the all the learned members are joining in and contibuting on this topic ... Satsangha is all about Collective wisdom !! First , my Thanks to our Devi -bhakta-shakta Sriman Nair-ji! Thanx for sharing all your experiences in the spiritual path . Our Amitab bacchan has surely adorned many roles - from a rebel to a crusader for Truth! SMILE! ( private joke) Most devi bhaktas like to approach Devi as the Divine mother but to think of Devi as the 'beloved' is one of the mosrt exalted bhavas and only the 'viras' among us can attempt that ! Nair-ji, that is going to be the most 'exciting ' contribution on your part! Madhurya bhava vis-a- vis Devi! Wow! as a Krishna-bhaktin, i can relate to that very well ! Bridal Mysticism ! Gosh! i have been an Aandaal, Mira , Radha, Valli in my life as a dancer but as the beloved of a devi .... ? never ! i would say 'go for it', Nair-ji! i deliberately chose the first verse of Viveka chudamani for a few reasons : 1) i wanted to honor the guru parampara -adi shankara's guru Govindapada 2_) i wanted to salute Govinda , my ishta nishta and that seemed to be the best way to do it-Guru and Govinda! Vande Guru Paramparam! Adi Purusham Govindam Aham Bhajami! Devi Is Tattwamayi - one of the names of LS ! Sri Tattvamayi — The Mother of the Ultimate State of Consciousness. Sri Lalita Sahasranama (Sri Lalita Sahasranama, C. S. Murthy, Assoc. Advertisers and Printers, 1989.) 907) Sri Tattvamayi — The Mother of the Ultimate State of Consciousness. Sri Lalita Sahasranama (Sri Lalita Sahasranama, C. S. Murthy, Assoc. Advertisers and Printers, 1989.) "She is Brahma Vidya — the knowledge of the Immensity. As the power of manifestation, Sakti appears at the root of the three aspects of existence, as Reality (Sat), Consciousness (Chit), and Experience (Ananda). As Reality, She is the power of action (kriya) that is, of causation. She is as well the power of multiplicity. As Consciousness, She is the power of understanding and the power of the flow of knowledge. As Experience, She is the power of enjoyment and of cognition, of realisation, of transcendent knowledge and the consort of Siva." Natchintanai 219 Nair-ji, please keep on posting the 'nectar of devotion' and bring in the 'rasa' of jnana into this Divine Song of Oneness! i have liked the 'wave' analogy and since i am also fond of Rumi poetry, the following verse was the inspiration for choosing the wave wooing the ocean ! "The heart that holds God holds an ocean Whose joyous waves make the earth turn." Thanx once again, nair-ji! keep singing! regards
