Guest guest
Nair-ji ! Thank you for sharing this delightful story . What appeals to me most about your writing style is all that you write comes straight from the heart and there is nothing 'contrived' in your narration. I vaguely recall Our beloved member r_s_mani narrating to us the story of Poonthanum and i and he had a discussion of who is greater , Narayan Bhattathiri or Poonthanam ? i think it is in that context , Shri MANI narrated the story of Poonthanam. I caanot get the actual message numbers -it was last year ! anyway ... btw, mani-ji, where are you ? i remember your wonderful posts on the list last year ! we miss you! smile! Nair-ji , here is the link for English translation of Jnana Pana ( pot of knowledge) http://asianetindia.com/dailydose/spirituality/display.asp? cap=jhanapana.htm - 81k - Cached - More from here is a verse that i liked Geethayum paranjeedunnatangine, Vedavum bahumanichu chollunnu, Even Bagavad Geetha says the same, And also so say the Vedas with respect. Amodam poondu cholluvin namangal, Anandam poondu brahmathil cheruvan. So sing God's holy names easily And with joy become one with God. simple , but true! In this kaliyuga , nama japa is best ! You can take God's name wherever you go!
