That is a beautiful analysis of the Hanuman incident from the Vedanta angle.

In fact while composing the post, such thoughts did cross my mind. You have

voiced them !! Hanuman's closely examining the pearls can be seen as

'Pariikshya lokaan karmachitaan braahmano nirvedamaayaat...'.

 

Thanks once again for that nice insight. In fact the stories of the puranas

and itihasa are indeed meant to give this supreme message.
