I would say that we are discussing Advaita Vedanta and whatever else that is in tune with it. > How can one ignore the 36 cosmic principles while > discussing this great topic. I agree that one cannot ignore the 36 cosmic principles when discussing this Great Topic. Why does Vedanta ignore it? I don't know for sure, but I feel that Advaita Vedanta does not list the kancukas or the shuddha-tattvas that exist between shuddha-vidya-tattva and Paramashiva for one reason only – because of the extreme vairagya that is specified by Sri Shankarachrya for the sadhaka to pursue the goal of Advaita Vedanta. To me, it appears that the absence of mention of the kancukas and the 'collapse' of the sadhaka into Paramashiva after attaining the state of shuddha-vidya- tattva means only one thing – that the sadhaka is expected to have overcome the root anava-mala and be full of Shakti already. But it may be too premature for me to elaborate further on this topic. > Rishi mentioned about Kshemaraja. Purushartha-ji, I think you know very well that without Spanda, there is neither Advaita Vedanta nor Advaita Tantra. Also, what you know seems to be Inscrutable! > Whether Gaudapada Karika or Spanda Karika, it is all about > 'spiritual' transcedence. Is it not, CRN? True. > The discussion is very illuminating and all the participants > are 'real' as you mentioned earlier. I was going to cut this part out of my reply when I suddenly realised that it is a PROFOUND STATEMENT! Why do I get these hints of recognition with you? What Madness is this that is around me, over me, through me! > Athato ..... play the flute and let us drown in the melody > of Divine music of Shabda Brahman.
