Guest guest
Namaste, Am not sure whether this is correct. am informed that there is still preserved at the Sringeri Math, the very wooden slate (Aasana Palakai) used by the Bhashyakara Acharya. He sat on it while he was in Sringeri. They have covered it completely with a Silver coat and bring it out only during Sri Shankara Jayanthi days. On those days, the Jagadguru places the Madhaviya Shankara Dig Vijaya charitam book on it and does parayanam at the sannidhi of the Acharya just adjacent to the Sharadambal temple. any one who can shed some more light. Thanks & Regards, Venkat. Sadgurubhyo Namah. Brings words and photos together (easily) with PhotoMail - it's free and works with Mail.
