Guest guest
What a beautiful group picture- so Divine and has a great 'aesthetic' appeal! Just in time to remind us that in the long 'spring' evenings ahead , merely by contemplatinmg and meditating on the mystical shabda brahman 'Aum' , we can approach the Higher Truth of the one without the second! may i please share a few lines from 'Chandogya upanishad' which seems to bring out the essence of the picture on the group page The essence of all beings is the earth. The essence of the earth is water. The essence of water is the plant. The essence of the plant is man. The essence of man is speech. The essence of speech is the Rigveda. The essence of Rigveda is the SamAveda. The essence of SamAveda is OM. Thus OM is the best of all essences, deserving the highest place. And At some point in his Navaneetham series , i am sure Sadaji would also mention about how Srimad Bhagvat gita talks about 'aum' sadhana ! here is one verse from the srimad Bhagvat gita The Blessed Lord Said: "All the gates of the body closed, the MIND confined within the heart, having FIXED his life-energy in the head, engaged in FIRM yoga; UTTERING the one-syllabled "OM", Brahman, THINKING of ME, he who departs, leaving the body, ATTAINS the Supreme Goal. AND THE MAHANIRVANA TANTRA ALSO SAYS OM NAMAH SACCIDANANDARUPAYA PARAMATMANE JYOTIRMAYASVARUPAYA VISVAMANGALYAMURTAYE Om Salutation to the Supreme Self, characterized as ' Truth - Consciousness and Bliss ' with luminous nature ( as that of the Sun ), universal good ( well being and beneficence ) is whose very being. OM sac-cid-ekam braHma. "Om. The singular Being-Consciousness, the Absolute." AUM SRI GURAVE NAMAHA! AUM SHANTI! SHANTI! SHANTIHI ! eNJOY THE BLISS OF 'AUM' SADHANA
