Namaste CNji,

If the white man's burden was thought to be heavy

it is surely by that of the brown man or should I say

that of the unicorn of the matrimonials 'the fair skinned

Brahmin', exceeded. Atlasji step aside.

There is in me a sneaking regard for the proponent

of the unpopular position but your productions remind

me of the dinosaur in more ways than one. The dino

was so large you will recollect that it had to have two

brains, one in its head and the other in its tail as the length

between the two would lead to signal degrade and

difficulties in locomotion. In short it would flounder.

Your posts require two brains. Made shorter they would be more

effective just as poetry creates its more intense effects

by compression. I don't know who your models are

but you need to review them. A thimblefull of Shankara

can weigh as much as an anvil and his arguments move

along briskly. Don't eat the soapbox.

Best Wishes,

Michael.

Could it also be that the so called white man's burden was a delusion caused

by unending unawareness of the brown man’s appreciation for the ideal Brahmin?

Warm regards,

Yes. I share this belief with you, and how on earth could it be

ignored that another possibility in the realm of thirst and its

quenching would be to follow consciousness in its seeking for the

appropriate liquid, regardless of the one that is most easily available?

A sailor shipwrecked in the middle of the ocean, even though

surrounded by an unending body of water, still has to hope for rain or

pursue distant shores where sweet water abounds if he wants to drink,

otherwise, drinking the most easily available liquid for him would

only represent his death by dehydration...

My warmest regards to all...

Namaste Michaelji!

In light of the above, I find it hard to understand how the Catholic

Church has gone about for centuries (and continues to go about)

converting people around the globe by force or enticement, causing

the extinction of many cultures. Its record speaks for itself.

My point is that there are no scriptural sanctions for many of the

evils practised in the name of caste, but they happen nevertheless.

I would also like to point out that varna and jaati (caste) are not

the same. You may think that this difference is not material, but it

is. Today no one follows varna dharma. Caste practices and casteist

evils continue to persist.
