Namaste all;

At a point, i wonder how much of this play of the lord is a comedy. Even

though i possess a certain degree of an iconoclastic stance, i have never

really been after attacking this or that issue. I merely pointed out what in

things made me look away from them and what made things unsuitable to my

character (some times being a bit bitter, sometimes plain sorry).

Couldn't it be that somewhere along the lines we forgot the universals and

focused on the words once and again? I mean, i am interested in advaita,

because i think we are all one, for real. "Not two" rings a bell somewhere

inside. "Holy father, thou art in heaven" doesn't. Why should i swallow such

a distance? I feel close to the maker. I refuse to accept words that confer

distance between us.

Consciousness is one, it follows a string. We are already all tied up around

that string. How can there be distance? And how can we find the common

ground if we differentiate those that linger around us, dangling around the

same thread?

What's the point in contesting this or that statement? Defending words won't

get me closer to their meaning. Be they sacred or not. I am not interested

in the authority, i am interested in what it tries to tell me. The nature of

my interest for them is the universality behind the signs, not the signs

themselves. However i shall concede that engaging discussions centered

around a particular view of the universal with the objective of speaking

against that particular view is a disregard for the universal itself (which

we have a tendency to take up).

Not being totally iconoclastic, and having been placed outside of the varna

system, i shall only point to one incoherence in logic. How could

differentiating sparks lit from the same light of consciousness help in

realizing the undivided consciousness itself? I am only in this game to

stare into the eyes of consciousness. Eyes do not age, and alone are not

really a proof of difference.

Namaste Felipe ,

Many people say that world in like reflection of moon

in water rather than saying that it is a leela . I

think this point of understanding might clear your

doubt.
