Guest guest
Jai Gurudev Dear Gurubhais, I m sorry to be cut off in the weekdays. I was extremely busy in weekend and i m tired also. anyway i have tried to prepare a short list of Sadhnas to show that i m also working. I have just attempted for this in a tabular form. The table is not visible in this but it contain actually three columns i.e. Serial No., Purpose/Deity and Deity/Purpose. The list is very short and i will try to extend this by searching various books. since i m very new so i don't have all the old books but i will try to do my best. If wanted i can give this in word file or web page format. Other gurubhais can suggest any other Sadhnas to be included in the list I will come again. Jai Gurudev Charanjit Different Sadhanas By Purpose Purpose Deity to be worshiped 1 Riddance from Evil Spirits 2 Aakarshan Sadhana 3 To get Rid Addiction 4 To banish diseases 5 To get Mental Peace 6 Shraadh Pitra Santushti Sadhana 7 Gopal Prayog for Children 8 Simple Shree Yantra Sadhna 9 For best education 10 To get rid from loans 11 To get rid of enemies 12 To get success in exams 13 To get good job 14 To get good husband/wife 15 To have safe pregnancy 16 To have good children 17 To have peaceful married life 18 To get timely promotion 19 To get good business 20 To have a vehicle 21 To become rich 22 To become Politician 23 To become Pandit Ten Mahavidyas 1 Tara Sadhna By Deity Deity Purpose 1 Guru Poornnima Sadhana 2 Panchanguli Sadhana 3 Megha Saraswati Sadhana 4 Mahalakshmi Poojan 5 Lakshmi Sadhanas of great Rishis and Tantriks 6 Mahamrityunjay Sadhana 7 Uchhisht Ganpati Sadhana 8 Quick Acting Bheirav Sadhanas 9 Miraculous Hanuman Sadhanas 10 Planet Shani (saturn) Sadhana 11 Planet Shukra (venus) Sadhana 12 Mahaganpati Sadhna 13 Kartikeya Sadhna 14 Sabar Lakshmi Sadhnas on Diwali 15 Mahakali Sadhna 16 Durga Sadhana 17 Vaidyanath Sadhana 18 Kanakdhara Sadhna 19 Another Mahakali Sadhna 20 Lama Holi Sadhnas 21 Lord Shiva 22 Kaamdev-Rati 23 Sadhana of planet Moon
Guest guest
Jai Gurudev Charanjitji, A website in Hindi is a very good intention & plan. I think that Jodhpur gurudham is already doing somethiing in this regard. Thanks for trying to order the Sadhanas by purpose etc. However, in my humble opinion, correlation between purpose & deity is not that simple. There are many , many Sadhanas for a single deity. one may perform sadhana of a single deity for various purposes. moroever, even for one single purpose & sadhana, a single deity has many sadhana procedures. That is why, advice of Gurudev is important. A normal man sees so many Sadhanas, and gets confused. Only pujya Gurudev can advice about the appropriate sadhana (& specific sadhana procedure) & appropriate deity. For example Baglamukhi Sadhana can be used to combat enemies, victory in court cases, solving various problems, removing problems at job/business, obtaining wealth, curing illness etc. moroever, a single deity can have many different types of forms. eg. Ma Kali can be in ugra (anger) or soumya (peaceful) form. And, for example is Ashtlakshmi Sadhana, one worships 8 forms of Goddess Lakshmi. And many Sadhanas also involve more than one deity. All these things are very much interlinked. eg. There is a correlation between Mahavidya & specific Kundalini Chakra, there are many bheiravs of each Mahavidya, etc. etc. Your have very good & noble intentions. u want to remove this confusion. But , by preparing such tables, we might run the risk of people thinking (wrongly) that so&so deity is to be worshipped for so&so purpose. This might be a spread of misinformation, as beginners might make wrong assumptions Again, the website contains a very less amount of Sadhanas. Each issue of magazine might contain 10-30 sadhanas & rituals (big & small). The magazine is now in 21st year, and more than 240 issues have been published. So, classifying into purposes is a huge task, and it has to be done very carefully by someone who understands the basics of Sadhanas. So, we are talking about thousands of Sadhanas. And a begineer will never, never know which Sadhana (& specific procedure of Sadhana) best fits him. He is bound to get more confused confronted with all this. As an example, he might try to go for the simplest (small no of malas&days) sadhana which might not be appropriate for him. I don't know. I confess that I myself am a bit confused! Perhaps some other knowledgable Sadhak sud resolve our confusions. I guess that we can classify into two broad categories - deity & purpose. But we SUD not try to crosslink both of them. So from my view, it sud be like - By Purpose 1 Riddance from Evil Spirits 2 Aakarshan Sadhana 3 To get Rid Addiction 4 To banish diseases 5 To get Mental Peace 6 Shraadh Pitra Santushti Sadhana 7 Gopal Prayog for Children 8 Simple Shree Yantra Sadhna 9 For best education 10 To get rid from loans 11 To get rid of enemies 12 To get success in exams 13 To get good job 14 To get good husband/wife 15 To have safe pregnancy 16 To have good children 17 To have peaceful married life 18 To get timely promotion 19 To get good business 20 To have a vehicle 21 To become rich 22 To become Politician 23 To become Pandit By Deity 1 Guru Poornnima Sadhana 2 Panchanguli Sadhana 3 Megha Saraswati Sadhana 4 Mahalakshmi Poojan 5 Lakshmi Sadhanas of great Rishis and Tantriks 6 Mahamrityunjay Sadhana 7 Uchhisht Ganpati Sadhana 8 Quick Acting Bheirav Sadhanas 9 Miraculous Hanuman Sadhanas 10 Planet Shani (saturn) Sadhana 11 Planet Shukra (venus) Sadhana 12 Mahaganpati Sadhna 13 Kartikeya Sadhna 14 Sabar Lakshmi Sadhnas on Diwali 15 Mahakali Sadhna 16 Durga Sadhana 17 Vaidyanath Sadhana 18 Kanakdhara Sadhna 19 Another Mahakali Sadhna 20 Lama Holi Sadhnas 21 Lord Shiva 22 Kaamdev-Rati 23 Sadhana of planet Moon , "C Kumar" <ckumar99> wrote: > Jai Gurudev > > Dear Gurubhais, > > I m sorry to be cut off in the weekdays. passionate_freak
without the guidance of a Guru all sadhanas are worthless... well if you got the Samskara from past lives then it's okay...even if in this case, a Guru who has the manifestation in all is a must.... so look for the guru first rather than the sadhanas and all....you may find you doing sadhanas the same way even in next life...and figure out it just to know it was a waste, lol..... cheers

Well, regarding the guidance of a guru, you learn it more systematically and in an organized way. That doesnt mean that nothing can be learnt without a guru. To search the truth without guidance of a guru may be difficult but not impossible. What about Gautam Buddha, Mahavira, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohommed? All were great souls on their own. Anyway, the truth lies within you. If you are Satvik enough, you will find it else you definitely need a guidance of a Guru.
