Guest guest
Jay Gurudev. This posting is mainly for non-Hindi speaking people. A message for overseas list-members is detailed in the end. However, everyone is welcome to comment on it!! Please read this message and comment. Thanks. The English magazine (Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan) was restarted last year in March to cater to non-Hindi speaking people. I think that this medium can be very effectively used to spread pujya Gurudev's message to South India. Most of the South Indians do not know about Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan or about Gurudev due to language barrier. One method of publicising Gurudev's message can be by placing advertisements about Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan mag in major South Indian newspapers and magazines. According to my understanding, following are major English language newspapers in South India. Can fellow South-Indians on the list check this list and update it if I am missing any important newspaper. Thanks a lot. The Hindu Indian Express Times of India Deccan Herald (Karnataka/AP) Malayalam Manorama (Kerala) Sanjeevani (Karnataka/AP) www.samachar.com has got many links to South Indian newspapers, but most of them tend to be local language oriented. After finalising this list, we can think of putting an ad in these newspapers to invite people to read Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan magazine. Moroever, I wanted to know if the English magazine is available in any major bookstalls there. Alternatively, can u suggest some names of leading bookstall chains eg. wheelers wherein we can place our mag. Some Wheelers shops in North/West India do stock the magazine currently. I am also thinking about something for the overseas junta. Most of the Indians abroad tend to converge together and stay in a particular locality in various countries. These localities have shops which sell Indian mags, music cassettes etc. We have got individuals from all major countries australia, usa, belgium, uk etc. on this group. It will be a good idea if overseas_disciples purchase 10-20 copies of English magazine every month from Jodhpur Gurudham, and then place these in the India areas. The price of each mag is US$ 3, but u may get it for US$ 2 from Jodhpur if taking in bulk. U can give it to bookseller for 2 dollars, and (s)he can earn one dollar commission on each (as an incentive) by selling it for us$ 3.00 win-win situation for everyone!! U can place magazines to these bookstalls/shops during the weekends, maybe while purchasing grocery! It sudnt take more than couple of hours. A nice way to do some Guru-Sewa. any thoughts!
