[4prachar] Very Important Suggestion

This is regarding some of the recent discussions. Sorry, I came in

late!

a. About recent message raised by Anuragji on too_many promotion

related messages. One idea could be to standardise and use the

subject field usefully. We can start by using following words is

subject field for -

1. mails intended for everyone . Prefix subject with "4ALL"

2. mails intended only for india_based sadhaks . Prefix

subject with "4indiaonly"

3. mails intended only for discussion on promotion etc.

Prefix subject field with "4prachar" . All mails related to website

fall in 4prachar category.

This way, people who arent interested in specific bits can ignore the

message.

 

b. There has been some really good activity in recent days about

suggestion regarding additions to web site etc.

Amanji, I don't know if u r aware, but we have had similar discussion

sometime ago, and the summary of that discussion is in

creatively_named_file "isspcomments.txt". U may access this file from

the main menu in the .

 

c. It is a good idea to add in Gurudev's photos. There is an existing

photo gallery in the main website www.siddhashram.org, and I believe,

that more photos will be added on it by Gurudham. However, we can

always add more photos anywhere else

 

d. Starting website in hindi is a very,very good idea. Amanji has

shown great initiative in opting to write some new articles in

hindi. we can also submit these articles to Gurudham, and request

for their submission into the main site. In fact, if someone can

write a good article on introduction to Gurudev, intro to Mantra-

Tantra etc. then we can submit it to Gurudham, and request to put it

on the main website www.siddhashram.org itself.

 

e. A more higher priority task is to translate such introductory

matter into other languages, particularly - tamil, telugu, kannada,

bengali etc. Then, we can at least provide a multi lingual intro to

our organisation and Gurudev. Are there any volunteers to translate

at least the intro part into their native language (non-hindi). It

sudnt take much time. even if u translate and mail it to me in the

roman(english) script, i will type it in the relevant script.

 

f. Ashishji, two actions on you. First, can you please provide email

address of contributoes, so that any questions can be directed

straight to the contributor. Secondly, have you been able to speak to

revered Gurudev and take His persmission for setting up link of

"brinkster" site to the main www.siddhashram.org website. Have you

spoken to Gurudev about this site yet?

 

I know that I have a pending action on providing a draft for

pamphlets on "promotional matter" for MTYV magazine. Here is an

extract from an old hindi mag - maybe, we can work up on it, and take

it as a starting point.
