Being a Pandit, I should also do some Panditai. Okay, Shrivastavji told me that 16th July 8 AM IST to 4 PM IST is a great muhurt and one must try to utilise it. Have a nice day. Ashish... Guest guest Posted July 9, 2001 Report Share Posted July 9, 2001 -- jai GURUDEV yes, that is shravan sankranti. sun goes in cancer ( a friend's house) sorry was tired of typing (but uncle may have other reasons too) next sankranti it will go in leo (it's own house and that is as good time to appease the sun, as good as when sun is in aries (exalted)) mars is in scorpio these days and venus is in tauras.(own house) this is second best to being exalted--venus in pisces and mars in capricorn. so this is a good time to appease these planets (for those afflicted). > Great Panditai! thank you!! Since the other people know nothing you can say what you want to... i only wish people were not so awed by it, and did not take any pandit's word as final. i have always argued with all of them with my meagre knowledge, and apparently very often their's is not too much more. i do not believe in a predestined future at all. Because a predestined future takes away my right to perform karma, takes away my free will and makes me no different from a lump of dead matter. You just have to be strong enough. And nothing can defeat you.
