Yes. Beej Mantras are very powerful especially Mahavidya Mantras.

Many seasoned sadhaks prefer them because them very short and very

effective. Even if you wish to use the conventional method, an

anushthan of Beej Mantra increases your chances of success.

 

A few years ago, moments before being given a Mahavidya Diksha by

Pujya Kailash Guruji, Shrivastavji asked me to recite a Beej Mantra.

He told me that it is very powerful and will fine tune my soul and

body to completely absorb the power. He later disclosed many other

small but powerful Beej Mantras. Here are some of them:

 

1. Hleem Dhoom Hleem (Dhumavati - Bagalamukhi)

2. Bhram Kreem Bhram (Mahakali - Bhairav)

3. Shreem Gam Shreem (Mahalaxmi - Ganapati)

 

Did you know that the Guru Mantra is not a single mantra but a

collection of 50 Beej Mantras. So, while reciting Guru Mantra, we

actually recite 50 very powerful Beej Mantras. This is one of the

reasons of it's immense power.
