Guest guest Posted August 15, 2001 Report Share Posted August 15, 2001 Dear all, Sure we must rejoice on our independece day, but iam afraid how many of us remember the sacrifice put forth by our freedom fighters and the difficulties they have undergone, i think we are forgetting them slowly and surely and i am ashamed of myself that i dont even know all the details during the freedom fight other than the knowledge i got during my education and i have not done enough of my home work regarding this. But i want you all to remember that its also the Birth day of Sri Aurbindo , he was influential in getting the freedom behind the scenes (at the higher level) He is unique in himself to have attained liberation due to love for his country(patriotism). Lets not forget that someday we should pledge that we will hand our posterity the same glory which illuminated our past being aware of of the sacrifices put forth by our freedom fighters. vande mataram.... I m trying to remember and retype the things again ]]]..... First of all a very very Happy Independence Day. - Anu, this is not fair to blame us. I think u should check ur mail that whether u have actually sent the mail or not or there is some goofing in between. You know I was expecting my rakhi card from my sister but unfortunatly I didn't received. And u know I had really waited for that. And I thought to tell for this but by then I had seen the ashish's wishes and thought that u might have forget to send. There r so many things come in mind, whether u forget, ur busy or blah.. blah.. U know ur turn comes first so actually u was supposed to. Dear Birender, u have writeen so many good things, why don;t u compile one good article and post it on sadhak. You can very well help Anu but I think for his work let the credit goes to her only. Reg. YOGS, there is one more important i.e HATYOG. Harish has nicely put the list of books here and I have compiled that in worksheet. I hope u peoples must have seen the Excel Sheet by now for list of books. If everybody feels ok, I m ready to take the responsibility of compiling and collecting the list along with Harish or if Harish feels that he can do it alone that will be very nice. Radha-Krishna issue - why don't one of u consult ISKEON Mission. They must be knowing the exact details. REQUEST - Pl always write ur name at the end of every mail.
