Guest guest
--- dear raman, i am from delhi and so is our best speaker arvindJI but we are sitting in the other corner of the world unfortunately. > here in delhi i dont know anyone who is a follower of the same guru as we do so its pretty sad first brother, you are based in delhi where you have siddhashram (GURUDham). so if you want to you can go there as often as you wish too. there are sadhna prayogs being held 3 days a month. so this month end (you can check the dates on siddhashram site) too there will be some. unfortunately tey are held in the evening. it gets late till they finish (9.30 or so) and if you live in the other corner of delhi, your attempt to do sadhnas will be accompanied with a good scolding from your mother. like it used to happen to me. thnere willalso be a navrtri shivir, and then 1 on new year. so just attend them to start. > there is a total lack of support with me yes, but we all have our own barriers in a good path. you can always talk to people in this discussion group. > furthermore my family is those of a staunch bhrahmins > and thus not belive in having guru-vuru [as my mother puts it] f they accept your having a GURU, go ahead and do sadhnas and o not try to force them, if they do not allow you to have one, i do not know what is the best thing to do. jai GURUDEV good wishes anu
Guest guest
Raman, You have to walk alone in the path of Sadhana. Only Guru is alone with you everywhere. You could be called a disciple only when you take Diksha from Guru. When you do any Sadhana or Meditation, Guru is always with you. Take the example of a Candle. Its not only the wax that burns but also the wick; they both burn to give out the light. So do not delay, do not think of anyone to help you. You alone have to help yourself. You are in Delhi, go to Delhi Gurudham and just meet Gurudev without any doubt in your mind. If you have a true faith in your ownself, do not question anyone. The answers will come from anywhere. You would not feel lonely. The knowledge from within will guide you in your path of Spirituality, the path of totality. Jai Gurudev.
