Guest guest
jai Gurudev my dear all, yesterday i happened to go to independence day celebrations, here usually it is held at weekend when people have lot of free time, there were lot of cultural problems. usually dancing ,singing ,eating.Anyhow the point for writing this mail is i felt few good things about the program, which i thouhght may be useful to share with you people. Basically it is 2 things, the first one is, the dance program it started with classical dances and later transformed into filmi music stuff. before they could start the full fledged dance program there was a introductory prayer offered to Lord Nataraja and few small children offered the prayer in form a dance. what intriuged me about the sanakrit prayer which the host on the podium interpreted ,before it was performed is, though i cant tell you people the exact meaning but it was something like this The prayer is about the "PHILOSOPHY OF NATYA". It goes like this "The dance performer(dancer) has nothing do with male/female,height/weight what type of clothes one is wearing,if you are not wearing any costume you can think of stars and planets as drapers around you.But the thing that is important to the dancer is the spririt that one is SHIVOHAM OR THE BRAHMAN and he should perform the dance in that liberated anadamaya spirit". That was the way i understood, i really felt annhilated .... i cant describe that feeling, i never thought there would be such a philosophy. And the people who sung the poem were singing in a tone which i cant describe , added to the effect. I think some one should have certainly attained liberation in this way, probably it could be lord siva himself(probably at the end of pralaya /Maha pralaya)??? There should probably be something called natya yoga, its logical to me becos i dont see that it has any philosophy differences with other yogs. so now coming to 2nd intruiging point is the FLUTE some people in the show were playing musical instrument probably sitar, drums and few more besides the flute. The point is that whenever the flute was in full swing it had created heavy vibrations in my heart ,i can feel lot of activity in my heart region, i feel like its blobing out of its place and many more things happen and what i found about it is that i get completly lost in that flute music unknowingly and at that time nothing interests me, i just loose complete control of myself, and i cant resist also, its like i get a sort of vairagya state(more near to that, i dont have a better word to describe it, but its something like nothing intrests , i feel like i want to leave whatever iam doing and get lost forever in that melody/ananda/vibrations that flute has generated in me). i am really finding it hard to explain you people but i dont know it keeps happening to me whenver i listen to flute, i love this instrument like anything, its nothing related to krishna or so but i like the pitch the music.... i dont know why lord krishna had choosen flute, it must ceratinly have something special in that.... i have heard other instrument whose names i cant correctly specify but i can identify the music , they really dont have so much effect as the flute has, i dont know if it happens only to me or not i am curious of how other peopeles flute feelings are? my guess is that it should effect every one , though people may not observe it. i think/understand that if Gopikas were dragged to krishna, defenitly its the greatness of Lord krishna and not the Gopis, becos Gopikas cant resist the music they are just forced/dragged by krishna, so there is not much of Gopikas effort here that is my feeling in today terminology probably it can be equalled to as Gurudevs speeches/shaktipath/his magnetism or something like that. anyhow i felt that listening to flute music could take you people who are REAL HARDCORE SADHAKS into the heart region fastly and smoothly with out much effort in generating a womeness in ourselves. i think its a fast way to womeness which Gurudev wanted us to have in addition to being sadhaks. so i may not be thinking right, but what i feel is its worth trying/observing Heartfully wishing that you all become great sadhaks with women hearts. love to all of you jai Gurudev
