Guest guest
Jay Gurudev Some of the forthcoming Auspicious moments are – There is Guru Pushya Yog tonight from 8 pm to Sunrise. Sun Sakranti on Sunday makes the entire Sunday night (from sunset to surise) highly auspicious for Sadhanas. Combination of Sarv Pitra Dosh Amavasya & Somvati Amavasya makes Monday (whole day & night) highly auspicious. The Sunrise timeperiod from Thursday to Sunday are highly auspicious due to exhalted Sun. These auspicious moments are highly favourable, and one should make maximum possible use of these rare moments to perform Sadhanas, Anusthaans, Puja, Geetapath and Daan etc. Disciples staying outside India can use their local time on these days to perform Sadhanas. There is no need to recalculate (add/subtract) from Indian Standard Time. Jay Gurudev With best wishes,
Guest guest
--- jai GURUDEV thank you very much for the information on auspicious moments. we all are grateful for it. > Disciples staying outside India can use their local time on these > days to perform Sadhanas. There is no need to recalculate > (add/subtract) from Indian Standard Time. kindly note that this is incorrect. this can be checked on any good astrology site. Each will give the same answer. And this is what i said to SHrivastav uncle in my conversation with him. Movement of planets from one sign to another does not depend on the place on earth. So it is GURU pushya in india from 8.20 pm in Brussels, Europe it is GURU pushya at 4.30 pm. (local time) in NEW YORK, it is GURU pushya already at 10.30 a.m. local time, and in Los angeles, US it is GURU pushya at 7.30 a.m. already. because GURU pushya starts the moment moon moves to pushya a from punarvasu. and of couse GURUvaar starts the moment sun rises. What depends on the place is the ascendant. So it can be leo in india, and libra somewhere slse. since sun is in leo at sunrise in every country on earth, sunrise will be equally auspicious every where. similarly sankranti is the time when sun moves from one rashi to the next, and that happens at a particular instant. Punya kaal of sankranti is 6 hrs before and after the exact moment should be taken accordingly. there is usually a minor 15 to 20 minutes variation in this change from place to place which i do not fully understand, however taking local time conversions is a safe bet. What i expressed is what i believe in, can prove by reasonalby simple methods and do, but nobody is bound by what i say. KIndly do what you appeals to your heart and soul. i do not wish to start a long debate on this, as i may noy be able to participate in it. Others are free to do so as much as they wish to. i also have another doubt, and i ask this becoz i am not sure. amavasya starts at 7. 45 pm IST on sunday the 16th september. and ends at 3.57 pm IST on monday, 17th september. should we then take sunday night, or monday might as the amavasya night?? Best wishes jai GURUDEV anu
