Guest guest
Jai Gurudev While browsing the net, i suddenly came upon following link of hinduism.about.com which is a hinduism portal. The specific link is http://hinduism.about.com/cs/gurussaints/index_2.htm and they have entered an entry for Revered Gurudev in their "Saints & Gurus" section. Gurudev's name (+link) is above Tulsidas. Another thing. (Mandatory(!) posting of some gems from old magazines)- In Oct 97 issue (Mahalakshmi Special) of mtyv (page 27-29), there is an excellent Sadhana provided by pujya Gurudev. It is a Sadhana to ensure "Success in other Sadhanas". This is a fantastic/educative article written by pujya Gurudev in which He has mentioned that - due to wrong pronunciation or other reasons, sadhaks sometimes dont obtain success in sadhana, and start to doubt sadhana itself which leads to their downfall. morever, sometimes sadhaks dont have capacity to sit for hours together in a sadhana, and leave it midway due to hard exertion etc. He says that - out of 50 students in a class, there is a possiblity of only 20 passing and 30 failing, since every student will have different level of ability. It is the responsibility of he teacher to ensure that the students of lesser ability also pass. This Sadhana was obtained by Risi Vishwamitra through the rays of Bhramaand (universe), and He tested the efficacy of this Sadhana by asking His "perfect" disciples to willingly make mistakes in Sadhanas. It is an excellent Sadhana. i am giving details of sadhana for benefit of non-hindi readers- Sadhana articles- Sadhana Siddhi Yantra & Bhrahmaanu mala process- to be done in early morning only. sit on knees like the muslims do while performing namaj. setup yantra on a wooden board/baajot, and bathe it with water. after bathing, wipe the Yantra, and place Yantra. Then do tilak (place mark) using kumkum (vermilion) on the yantra 7 times. then chant 21 malas of following mantra- ||Om Hreem Shreem Kleem Sampurna Brahmand Mantra Siddhim Kleem Shreem Hreem Phat || Repeat for 5 days, and then drop sadhana articles in river or pond. -- Please direct all "technical" queries about this Sadhana to Gurudham (mtyv@s...) u Should get Sadhana articles from Gurudham. i just took the liberty of providing english translation here (of basic sadhana process) only for benefits of non-hindi readers. Oct 97 issue is a fantastic issue (like all other issues) and some Sadhanas included in it are Dhanda Yakshini Prayog (for wealth and prosperity), Garbh Raksha Prayog (To prevent miscarriage), Baglamukhi Yantra, Kaal Bheirav Sadhana , Heramb Ganpati Sadhana etc. etc. It also has a very captivating story/incident about a ghost which had entered into someone's body. btw, many many thanks to James Kirk & Birendra for search engine submissions. Another famous "person" with same name (capt James Kirk) was the Commander of starship USS Enterprise with motto- To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before. I am all in favor of "To Ernestly Sumbit Where None Has Submitted Before" Jai Gurudev
