Guest guest Posted September 20, 2001 Report Share Posted September 20, 2001 dear all jai GURUDEV i wish to remind you all of the ongoing Purushottam maas. this time though not suitable for marraige, and new ventures is highly highly auspicious for any pooja path, vrat daan, jap etc. Saadhnas done during this time produce quick and sure results. This is because all the festivals of the year are condensed into 1 month so Poornima is equal to holi, amavasya to diwali etc etc. so do make use of this time to perform sadhnas and solve problems. since purushottam maas is attributed to lord vishnu, it will be a good idea to appease him daily in whatever way you can. there is a story about how Lord Krishna explained the signinficance of fasting for the whole of this month to pandavas to regain their lost kingdom. and of course, after this month we have very auspicious navratri, and then diwali. so do use the good time ahead wishes anu Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
