Guest guest
Jai Gurudev, My dear all, i know that we are all entangled in some sort of responsibities/desires which give us pain some times and pleasure some times. If any one is reeling under pain whatever it may be due to(all trivial/non trivial), please consider me as your own and write to me in person/ or post it , i will try to get some inspring article for you that can alleviate your pain/or give u support and strength to bear it.... if you feel shy to write the whole problem, you can give a hint... Spirtual knowledge is a knife that can cut all delusion. So i will make an attempt on this basis... Hope you understand me... As long as ihave resources available at my disposal, ill try to do my part... i think other people who have resources available also should take part in this good initiative of helping and supporting each other and learning and growing from those experiences. lovingly Jai Gurudev
Guest guest
Dear Birendraji... Jai Gurudev !!!! I really appreciate your efforts.... Thank you.... Please take time to read my problem. To introduce myself I am Dinesh Sharma.I am a software engineer and at present working for an Internet company in Texas, USA. When I was in Bombay and a student doing my Engineering I came across our Gurudev's book "Practical Hypnotism".When I was reading it in between I went into a trans and met the author(at that time I took Gurudev as an author who has written a book and was unaware of Gurudev's greatness.) and he said many things to me. I was very inquisitive about the author and thought of writing to him in Jodhpur. But things happened in such a way that I accidently met a Gurubhai and fortunately got Diksha from Gurudev (He happened to come to Bombay those days.) After that I did some Sadhanas and was successful in it. I even had some unexplainable experiences. I also got support and had a good influence of my parents in India who are very religous. But after some time things went different. I came to US and got engrossed in my carrer and the life here.I became out of touch of my religous and spiritual philosophies and went on with my career.... But recently as you know in US things started deteorating and the economy sunk badly. Software engineers like me started getting laid off. Many of my colleagues returned back, many were jobless... and now it was my turn... My project got over and I was jobless.I was expecting that things will turn right after some months and was at home for more than a month... But after the Sept 11th incident the market crashed like never before.. No one expected that one of the most powerful and richest country's economy will be hit this way... I was tensed, dejected, broke and hardly had any hopes.... This is when I shamelessly thought of Gurudev... Looked for him in the internet and got the siddhashram site, went through it remembering Gurudev and joined this dicussion forum... Two days later accidently I got introduced to an Indian lady out here... Just chatting I told about myself and she said that one of her friend is looking for some software guy.She called him up from her cell phone.. I was called for an interview next day and got selected, was told to join soon. Now one may say that it was a mere coincidence or something like that. But the best of the marketing people and best of the companies had put there hands down.Companies like IBM,Oracle,Microsoft and Sun Microsystems were laying off and I get a job through a lady whom I had accidently met. Highly experienced engineers were out of job and in this situation I get a job and in this manner... Gurudev has always helped me when I was in trouble... but what hurts me is that I havent done anything. Please guide me how can I keep a balance of this world and the other. The fire which will keep me as a Grahast Sadhak. Let not the attractive materialistic things out here shake me from inside. Let I not forget the reason why I have come to this world. To carry the flame of spirituality which Gurudev had ignited.... I will be highly obliged to you... Jai Gurudev... Guest guest
Dear Dinman, Jai Gurudev !!!! > > I really appreciate your efforts.... Thank you.... we are all the same family... so iam not accepting ur thanks. > Please take time > to read my problem. i hope all the members will read it, its real horrible time in US, i too went thru this phase this year, but Gurudev's and Parent's grace is still holding me... Nice to hear that u got a job...my good wishes to you. > Gurudev has always helped me when I was in trouble... but what >hurts > me is that I havent done anything. me too the same... >Please guide me how can I keep a > balance of this world and the other. HE is the one who guides, keep remembering him daily atleast once.or weekly once. > The fire which will keep me as a > Grahast Sadhak. Let not the attractive materialistic things out here > shake me from inside. Let I not forget the reason why I have come to > this world. To carry the flame of spirituality which Gurudev had > ignited.... To your question,i would try to do the following Always keep remembering ur past experiences with Bade Gurudev/keep in contact with Gurudev Reflect and act in vairagya in every action as the other side of the coin in addition to satsangh and keep some goal of selfless service that you want to do in future and keep thinking of it every and now and then so that once you get a chance you will be able to implement it, as otherwise we would forget it... meditate on the meaning of Gayatri mantra, while chanting i really find it amazing and helpful to get u vairagya/focus back or whenever you inner consciousness gives vairagya calls, as it does (due to various situation or by mere habit)at that time leave every thing and try to meditate on that vairagya/almighty/...whatever thought you want to call it..., if its not immediately possible to meditate/reflect, try to remember tthe situation that caused a call in the least and cater some time whenever ur are somewhat free( the problem with this is things get postponed and loose the impact) > I will be highly obliged to you... we are all the same ONE, in fact ishould be obliged ,that u have came open and expressed in all humbleness, your HUMILITY will save u.iam doing what is convenient to me, i am not going out of my way so iam not eligible for any thanks or merit of good work love jai Gurudev
Guest guest
Jay Gurudev Dear Brothers/Dinman >From my little knowledge, I would like to suggest that first you may start regularising yourself for daily gurupuja. Wake up at amril kaal i.e. before 4 am and sit for the daily puja. This is time when guruji personally come to visit every sadhak. Not only job you will get many-many more things. Side by Side start doing concentration also i.e. Tratak, this will help you in achieving your goals in sadhna path. So go ahead and best of luck.
