kashyap, dear brother please do not make this mistake. do not let your

mind wander from one thing to another. i wll tell you the secret to

success. be it gayatri be it aum, be it om namo vasudevaya, take one

thing up that appeals to you. and do it till you get the desired

result.

if you must know aditya hridayam was by sage agattya to Sri ram in his

fight with ravana.

it forms a part of valmiki ramayan.

the best place to find it in text +pronounciation is in shubha

mudgal's -surya upasana by isha music.

as for surya mantra:

gayatri encompasses the large divinty, and surya is a reflection of

it. gayarti is the best way of surya worship
