Guest guest
Dear Sister Anu! I did not know of your sisterhood till this mail. Though I had suspected from the mail that you were not a male as what you write has a signficant right brain dominant infuence(usually males are right brain predominant and females are left brain predominant). Perhaps you are aware that in ancient India, women were allowed to participate in vedic studies and they could walk out of marriage or have multiple partners as in the middle ages. It was sage ????(I forget the name but he was the uncle of the great Astavakra, the preceptor of Janaka) that imposed the present bindings on women when he saw his mother walk out with their neighbour in the presence of his unprotesting father. A little piece of history... Aum Namasivaya, Vijay --- nikhilashish <nikhilashish wrote: > JAI GURUDEV > Dear Anu... > > > comeon brothers, we need more people > > What about sisters? Guest guest
-- dear brother, which side of your brain is functional? > Though I had suspected from the mail that you were not > a male but ashish's calling me sister confirmed that i was a sister, otherwise who knows--why thankyou. but i totally fail to understand the underlying lesson in your mail? > women > were allowed to participate in vedic studies yes i know that. they > could walk out of marriage or have multiple partners > as in the middle ages. This is just a story. But in any case women are the weaker sex, so men can usually bully them into submission. The day when women are treated with respect, Bharatavarsha will again be a superpower. Incidentally, in my native state of Kerala, traditional it is a matrilineal society. This is the purported explanation why Kerala in some human development factors exceeds that of western nations(such as literacy, infant mortality, health care etc).
