Guest guest
What is an insult? According to the dictionary, it is “attacking the dignity”, “offend”, “abuse”, “offend” etc. In MAHABHARATA, Arjuna felt that Ekalavya insulted his guru DRONACHARYA, as Ekalavya learnt the art of archery with out the guru not actually teaching him. There are many such incidences like this where the disciple feels that some one has insulted his GURU and that it is his duty to set it right. But the GURU knows it all…He shall take care of the person who has insulted him. Let the true disciple ignore these words from ignorant disciples. The duty of the disciple is to follow what the guru says. The guru never advises that the disciple should retaliate if some one insults him/her. This will only lead to a continuous cycle. Please read the information given in the link below: http://www.narayanamaharaja.com/text/y1999/lecture19990608am.htm We will all loose good people if we keep leaving the group like this. This is not the right solution. If a person is insulting…then his karma will take him what he deserves. Let us not get affected by these simple material things. There are more than just insults in life. Let us all remain in the group and share each others knowledge in a spiritual way instead of being affected by all these rubbish. People will have different opinion on different things.. we cannot change that in everyone. Let us hope that they too will realize what mistakes they have committed. Let the guru decide.
