I am not an expert, but I've heard chanting about 151 rounds of the chetana mantra every morning (after taking a bth, etc.) until you feel signs of the kundalini awakening, which might take even years! IF you take this path, and feel signs of the kundalini awakening, you should contact the gurudham. There are many other ways of awakening your kundalini.
