I wanted to take guru diksha (and many other ones), but I found out that $120 are charged for it. Currently, I don't have that kind of money, because I am only a teen. I don't have a job yet either. So I decided to try doing a jap for a month of the Tara mata mantra: Om Hreem Threem Houm Phat. Do you think this might prove helpful? Do you have any suggestions? But I don't want to ask for answers from siddhashram.org, because I believe they reply only once a month. To Vatsalya Saxena: The problem is I don't have enough monay to get guru diksha. That is the reason I started the jap of the Tara Mantra. I am not looking for a way to get dikshas for the Tara Mahavidhya. I do not want to be a billionair. I simply want enough money get get several dikshas(in dollars) and several yantras, malas, etc. Right now, I just want to be able to do the Bhairav Sadhna, and some Krishna Sadhnas. So do you have any other suggestions? That reminds me, I was interested in the Strength Mahabaahu prayog. You get free subscription of MTYV for a year with this. Best is to attend a Shivir and get audience with Guru Dev. Guest guest Posted February 7, 2002 Report Share Posted February 7, 2002 kashyap i guess u can at least get diksha. u can send ur photograph and money for diksha to any guru bhai in India and he will forward ur request to Gurudham. i guess that way u can taleast get Guru diksha and start chanting Guru Mantra, Cheitanya Mantra and Gayatri Mantra. U can obtain "Sfatik mala" from there itself if u can get it for some reasonable amount. later that guurbhai can send u the Guru chita along with mantras written on it. I hope this is not illegal or something. i know one guru bhai who has all obtained all siddhis and everything just by chanting Guru Mantra. He has never taken any other diksha, sadhana or mantra. During my college days i tried to save my money as much as possible. Is it equivilant to one complete chanting, or 108 chants, as a round is in chanting mantras?
