so, brother, you have the potential of doing a lot of good by your tremendous

capacity to feel if you allow that aspect to grow. it will be very nice if you

try to take up something pertaining to social service too. reach out to human

beings, and feel their pain, give them hope and love. i am sure you will do

well there and it will be a very cleansing experience. i am not talking about

the american style of donating money to charity. thought it too has it's own

value. failing all else try to pray for others including people you have a hard

time with. try and send positive waves, love in their direction. that way you no

longer are the slave of their wrath. returning it will only tie both of you in a

chain of cause and effect further. and do neither of you any good. (this is

something i was once told by vijay and i think he deserves the credit for the

idea here.)hatred is not the quality of a noble soul. i recenty try to follow a

policy. it stems from the simple knowledge (which i took years to acquire) that

any negative emotion in me for others does the maximum harm to me. i am not

very spiritually advanced so i cannot return bitterness with love. so i simply

follow the easier path of staying away from them, and not allowing myself to

think about them at all.

do not focus on being thought of as an a noble soul, try to just imbibe "karo

karm apni thour". i once mentioned that i heard from a noble soul that if you

really wish to do good to some one with your advice or words, do it in a way ki

"ahem ki boo na ho. aise bolo ki appne andar hi andar prerna ho rahi hai aur

shabd muh se apne aap nikalte jaa rahe hain". and God knows i too have a hard

lesson to learn here, so am not trying to act holier than though. sat sangha

is important. yet, sat sangha is rarely found so easily. neither are you in a

position to provide sat sangha to me, nor i to you. let us not live in these

illusions. and you will find it at places it surprises you. the maid working

in your home if a blessed soul, may be able to provide better spiritual

guidance than a lot of wise men put together. because spiritual advancement has

got nothing to do with education, with money, with talking, or as it is called

the "gift of the gab".

should you not have said this to your "secret" admirer who was down to malign

your guru bhais and placed you way above all others??
