Guest guest
Dear all, i wonder how beautiful would have been the life of kabir, tulsi das, surdas and others likewise. Guest guest
it is nice to see a post i sent appear after two days. i am glad that kanishk's question has changed the subject. anyway, since authorities like yogananda have stepped in to sort out kanishk's confusion(?), i guess i need not say anything in the near future, and have apologized to kanishk for keeping busy. i still will like to say that you stay away from these attempts to entertain and confuse yourself in the name of astrology. first everyone does not have a planet in their 12th house, so what becomes of them? also remember that be it sri yuktewshwara or sri narayan dutt srimali, it is easy to confuse their yogic powers for astrology.you do not know for sure what it is that guides them in their recommendations because we have not reached that state yet. so please think lesser about planets. i repeat again, what vivekananda said astrology and all these mystical sciences are a sign of a weak mind. and whenever you find yourself drawn to such thngs take good food sleep and rest. i think that is the sanest advice. pray with your soul, chant. slowly all confusions will leave you. and always remember one things. there can be a lot of fake philosophers. but, there can never be fake karma yogi. so aspire in that direction. your deeds should speak much louder than your words. i for one have taken a decison for me. i do not want to see the charts of people. i want to lead such a life that after me, astrologers sit with my chart and think, was it her saturn, or was ither mars that made her what she was. frankly i do not care. the choice for you is yours. so i guess this amounts to stating that i should keep away from issp. and hopefuly with just a litlle self control i will keep away for good. good wishes jaigurudev anu
Guest guest
> KABIRA PREMAN KA KAHOON > PREM NA HAAT BIKAAYE > > PREM GALI ATI SANKARI > TA ME DOU NA SAMAAYE > but the translatiomns never catch the spirit and intensity right... you are true, the following poem from kabir tells that akath kahani prem ki, kahat kahi na jai; gunge keri sarkara, khaya aur muskai. The story of God's love is indescribable. No description is befitting; Its experience is just like that of a dumb person tasting candy. He smiles but cannot describe it. > > > Naina Bheeter Aav Tu, > > Nain Jhaamp Tohe Layoon > > Na Mein Dekhun Aur Ko, > > Na Tehi Dekhan Deyoon > > > > > Translation > > In dream came my consort, in sleep I made contact > > Scared I open not my eyes, lest the dream gets lost > > Wise is my consort, writes so in my heart > > Fearful, I drink not, lest the message gets washed > > Enter in my eyes, I may absorb you with eyelids dropped > > Neither shall I see anyone, nor let you see anyone else > > But to a person who has some grasp the content of the poem due to some past experiences , and does not know hindi (here readers may not know hindi or may not know it properly)can pick up the depth of the poem provided the english translation ,even though its a unjustified translation, it will ignite his old sweet memories, a person who is thirsty dosent care for ganga water, he just want some water wherever it is, to quench his thirst. i was just putting my perspective, dont feel hurt. to end this few more poems... pothi parhi parhi jag muva, pandit bhaya na koi; ekai akhar prem ka, parhe so pandit hoi. Having read many scriptures, people died without realization; One who reads only the one word "Love" becomes realized. prem gali ati sankari, tame dou na samai; jab mai tha tab hari nahi, ab hari hai mai nahi. The street of love is very narrow; two cannot pass through it at the same time; When I was, there was no God; now there is God, but I am not.
