Yog-Asans for awakening the aagya chakra

Jay Gurudev,Hello. I wanted to ask you (in case you would have the answer to my

question) are the following excersizes safe for beginners to

perform?1.)visualizing a flame in the space between the eyebrows

Yes, jyotir dhyan you can do.

2.)visualising the third eye as a tube , air coming in (inhalation),and

air moving out (exhalation)

Yes, during pranayam

3.)Parighasana- "Cross-bar pose" Gives good lateral stretch to the pelvic region

and trunk. Hold for about one minute on each side with the focus on ajna chakra.

Yes.

4.)Gomukasana- "Cow faced pose". Works on ajna chakra and anahata chakra. See air realization

Yes.5.)Ardha/Poorna Matsyendrasana- "Half Matsyendra pose"- tones nerves of the

spine, making back muscles supple. Regulates secretion of adrenaline and bile,

and will prove useful for mild cases of slipped disk. Matsyendra is the name of

the Lord of Fishes who having overheard Lord Shiva's instructions on yoga,

assumed a human form and spread the knowledge on the earth plane.

Yes, but you can start first with ardh matsyendraasan then progress to poorna

matsaya asan as it is difficult to do.6.)Vrschikasana- "Scorpion posture" It is

said that this asana reverses aging and leads to harmony and happiness. As the

head is the seat of knowledge, pride, ego, jealousy, etc, placing the feet over

the head develops humility.

Yes.7.)Hanumanasana- "Hanuman's pose" This asana commemorates Hanumans'

prodigious leap from Sri Lanka to the Himalayas in order to retrieve a

life-giving herb. This asana resembles the splits of Western ballet.

Yes.8.)Shavasana- "Corpse posture" As still as a corpse, remaining motionless

and thoughtless, this asana restores the body and allows the yogin to absorb

the benefits of practice. Most often the last asana practiced in a sadhana.

Yes.

9.)Shambhavi mudraThese are advanced mudras but first you can start with tratak

on outside images which may your isht dev , or lord shiva or guru without

blinking of eye till the tears roll down into tears. then you can progress

towards shambhavi mudra at trikuti gradually.

It seems your thirst for knowledge is growing its good that you are doing self

study & research & not waiting for anybody.

its difficult to find a true guru & true disciple as both look for each other

but you must prepare yourself with basics & practice & prepare yourself for

that day & god will send true guru to you.

Shashanank asan is also very good, sarvang asan, viprit karni mudra are excellent.

The spiritual path or getting siddhis is not simple & there are lot of

frustrations i hope you will overcome them.

You are welcome to ask anything & i shall sincerely reply answers to which i

know according to the knowledge i have & which is not restricted.

Thanks.

Rohit.
