Diksha is the process of spiritually binding the disciple with the guru so that the disciple can be in direct contact of the guru and continuously grasp his knowledge and spiritual energy no matter where the disciple or the guru are located and no matter what the situation is. Guru can initiate the process of Diksha; but, it can never be complete without disciple's dedication and love for the guru. The guru may even ask for Guru Dakshina as it is an ancient tradition. If a person feels attracted towards a Guru and wishes to become his disciple, all that person is required to do is to ask for acceptance sincerely. If the guru is really, he would certain accept that person as his disciple. This divine connection is above life, death, money or any other worldly thing. Ashish...
