SHANTI mantra is usually sung at the end of prayer or offering, i

dont know the exact significance, but i know that its very valuable

one, so here is the shanti mantra and its meaning which i feel that

we should know

saha naavavatu

saha nau bhunaktu

saha viiryaM karavaavahai

tejasvi naavadhiitham asthu

maa vidvishhaavahai

OM shaa.ntiH shaa.ntiH shaa.ntiH

May we protected (by the Divine)

May we be nourished (by the Divine)

May we pursue the study with vigour

May we illumined by this study

May we not cavil (due to different viewpoints)

Let peace reign in all the three planes
