Guest guest
JAI GURUDEV Following is the Kalika Ashtak, a very powerful Strotra of mothor Mahakali. Starting from any tuesday of KRISHNA PAKSHA or any ASHTAMI, recite 51 times on each night for 21 nights. For the sadhana; make sure your supper is as light as possible, start around 10 PM after taking bath, wear clean clothes, sit facing south on a woolen, apply kumkum or gulal or ashta gandh or rakt chandan on your forehead, light an oil deepak and start chanting while concentrating either on Mahakali or Guruji. This sadhana was the first Mahavidya related sadhana performed by me and it was successful on the very first attempt. It creates a powerful base for other Mahavidya sadhanas and, needless to say, has other benefits too. It is from September '93 issue of MTYV. Try it, it's easy, you'll love it. You'll know what divine pleasure actually is. Kalika Ashtak: ###################### Viranchyaadidevaastrayaste gunaastreem, Samaaraadhya kaaleem pradhaanaa babhuvuh. Guest guest
Ashish, Do you think this is the correct translation of Kalika Ashtak in Hindi. I am enclosing it in tiff format. I kind of find it difficult to chant reading in english. If you think this is correct please let us know. Thanks S - Official partner of 2002 FIFA World Cup http://fifaworldcup. Guest guest
JAI GURUDEV > Do you think this is the correct translation of > Kalika Ashtak in Hindi. Sorry, it's not. Though my scanner is gone, I was able to make some arrangements to get it scanned for you. I'm including the Kalika Ashtak in JPG format from Sep'93 issue of MTYV. I am also uploading it to the files sections of this group. I urge every member of this group to chant it, at least, once everyday. Hope it helps. You'll have to use your mail account. Just log into your account, compose a message for _AT_ (replace _AT_ with @), add attachments, click 'Done' and then click 'Send'. Voila! it's done. That's easy, isn't it? Take care and good luck... Ashish...
