To My Dear Spiritual Companions,

Viprit Karni Mudra:- inverted posture

Out of 14 important mudras in yog, viprit karni is one of the most important

mudra for a sadhak or a yogi.

This is directly related to our mind & flow of pran.By this asan the amrit of

the body flows into the navel centre where it is totally consumed by our

digestive fire & this nectar is properly consumed in the upper centres of the

body.

it removes the defects of blood in no time.

tissues of the body are strengthened

one is relieved from the fatigue.

all the disorders of the brain are slowly cured & the activity of the brain

starts functioning in the systematic manner.

It helps in saving seminal energy & takes it into higher chakras

It stops the decay process of the body.

It turns gray hairs into normal condition.

metabolism of the body functions normally.

it removes headache, giddiness & cures gonads.

This kriya is best for removing many diseases.

This kriya is best suited to kriya yogi's.

This helps in obtaining many psychic powers.

This helps in increasing age or life span.

Technique:-

In the final posture of sarvang asan the palms are placed lowest on the back in

order to keep the body absolutely straight.but in viprit karni mudra the head &

the cervical region(i.e. neck & shoulders) touch touch the ground & the palms

are placed on the hips & the portion of the body from the hips to the toes is

kept stretched in the slanting position towards the sky.All the directions are

the same as in sarvangasan. breathing process remains normal in this process.

Point of concentration :vishudhi chakra.

Time can be from : 5 min to 2 & half hours for this asan with any number of times

Can be done in the morning & afternoon before taking food & strictly not during night.

Thanks.

Rohit.
