Guest guest Posted July 10, 2002 Report Share Posted July 10, 2002 To my dear spiritual companions, Blessed are those who are criticized for doing good.A paradise of eternal bliss is theirs who live & die in right behavior.But woe to them who out of jealousy, enmity or self interest malign & seek to harm the good name of those who are engaged in noble works.Sarcasm, slander,revengefulness,bias, untruth are poison shafts of evil that boomrang to inflict great karmic injury to the soul of criticizer. Unkind & unjust criticism causes disharmony & factions of partiality,bias & rebellion.The love of gossip is the love to crucify the soul of others but they hurt the criticizer more in long run & it is truth. The wrongly criticized person becomes purer than ever while the wicked accusers are condemned by the unfailing karmic law of cause & effect. - Swami Yogananda. This is applicable to every living being, nations & civilizations &This we can see in our daily life between individuals, nations & civilizations. Thanks.
