Guest guest
Wasting time as I do, surfing, this weekend I chanced upon a group--- saw the home page change from the yellow of ma baglamukhi to ma maatangi. Very intereseting and very humbling. There are a lot of learned people there as well as saw some not so active members with us very active there. And all this time I had spoken to them as if they were novices. It seems they are experienced sadhaks and many others there too. but guess it is something more for the intellectuals and we have only one here with us—birendra, so I am a little afraid that he may abandon us and run there. But what impressed me most was active participation from so many members. And also excellent moderation from this very learned, eloquent and humble gentleman --devi_bhakta and no, it is not me! (bhagat tatsam in hindi of Sanskrit bhakta) I am the raw unpolished side of a devotee. Looking back I felt somewhat embarrassed of myself at the messes we have repeatedly gotten entangled in where we surely have been using the group for things other than promotion of GURuji's gyaan and discussing the work of learned saints. We have been entangled in several successful and unsuccessful attempts to character assaaaination, forging IP addresses uncountable number of times, and misusing the immunamed account and then more recently posting mails from 2 email addresses and well ……..perhaps it is gurudev's way of cleansing his unworthy disciples as we are. Because human beings are not black and white but shades of Of late of course, there have been efforts to steer the group in the right direction and we feel grateful for the work done by gurubhai ashish and rohit, and thankfully the viruses have also disappeared. Back to shakti sadhna, yes I agree this is satsangh. And pray once again that we too never deter again from it. But it seems even experienced sadhaks and devotes of vaagrupini matangi like devi_bhakta too have their shares of misunderstandings. To quote from the first mail I read by him "That's not necessarily true. I wouldn't mind, if you think it's appropriate. I've learned the hard way that many people (present company excluded, of course ;-)) do not read what I actually write, but rather respond to what they *think* I said, regardless of what I actually said. That's particularly dangerous in discussing Tantra." So forget about logheads like me. This devotee of devi has no such problems because the conversation is forced to take the route of my limited understanding:-) And that leaves the other party with the only choice "devi_bhagat, you totally misunderstood my mail, but,….may be that is true, but I still doubt…….!" jai gurudev
