Bade Gurudev told that there are 3 ways of getting

knowledge/favours/services from a Guru

1) Paying money (the crudest way)

2) exchange knowledge for knowledge( for example i teach some one

numerolgy in return i get taught in astrology)(less cruder)

3)thru service to a Guru by self surrender.(least crudest)

so i read that even Lahiri Mahasaya charged Rs 5 for kriya yoga

initaiation as per directions of his Guru mahavatar bababji

during those times (early 20 th century or late 19 century) 5 rupees

meant a lot.

even gurudev used to tell in shibirs which i dont remember exactly

that all of the money would go to siddhashram and used when needed, i

still am unable to comprehend what gurudev meant by that, but still i

believe in what he said.

and other reason for charging money could be that when you pay money

for sadhana you would take it more seriously than not, its true.

infomation regarding granthis or knots(basically three)

rudra granthi is linked to agna chakra

vishnu grantin is linked to heart/anahata chakra

brahma granthi is related to muladahara chakra

(they deal with avidya, kama and karma) i dont which is related to

which.

proabaly this is higher level of classification then the chakras.

granthi i hope has the other meaning known as glands, besides knots.

granthi is kind of mystical and worth some exploration and

understanding.
