Guest guest
In order to continue the good work initiated by ashish during on going saawan, here is one more shiv sadhana. mahashiv puraan tells of sadhana used by lord Krishna to beget a son. Here is the mantra ref dec 98 samagri- parad shiv ling, rudraksha mala (rs 360 in SAARC) direction –not mentioned –in all shiv sadhans use ishan –north east. Until otherwise mentioned clothes etc not mentioned –yellow or white mahurat- saavan somvar, shivratri time- not mentioned, brahma mahurat is always a lot better in shiv sadhnas, but night can also be used without much ado. chant amount: 21 mala either on shiv ratri or should be used non stop by couples ideally both man and woman at least till conception. After that too, continuing at least 1 mala a day till child birth will be a good idea. If both partners are not willing then, there is nothing wrong with one of them sitting for this sadhana offer water mixed with a little milk on the shivling. Then offer 3 belva patras on the shiv ling. Chanting: Tridalam trigunnaakaaram trinetram cha shivaatmakam Bilva patram mayaa dattam grihaann parameshwar The chant Aum sham shivaaya tat purushaaaya putraan dehi sham aum namah Kindly note that I am not a guru. And sometimes I modify sadhanas slightly. I am confident by now that if you call and ask no one will say this is wrong. But please use your own discretion. Eg here I added "should be used non stop by couples ideally both man and woman at least till conception. After that too, continuing at least 1 mala a day till child birth will be a good idea." on my own. So if you have doubts please consult some one more responsible and accomplished.
