Guest guest
dear kanishk, thank you for your kindness in asking me. - but i am not sure. in mantra rahasya the exact amount is given for quite a few mantras. usually they say as many times (in lakhs) as there are letters so count them in aum namao naaraayanaay -may be between 6 to 10 lakh :-) i am not sure how you count maatras. -should be half a ltter i guess. why do you not start, as soon as we know we will tell you, or what you can do is chant upto 6 lakh, then get back and we will find out about how much more ... sorry, i am joking. see though there are these definitions, these are for poorna siddhi. after that if you take some water in your hand and repeat the mantra 11 times and sprinkle on my head saying "bhasma ho ja" i should be reduced to ashes. if not sit for your 10 lakh chant again !! oops, this is no way to answer a query. OK serious, kanishk, i do not think that this theory of numbers works for us. several factors work in the direction of making your chant effective. repetition is one, but concentration is a very important factor, as well the previous burden of sins you carry - the first siddhi will take longer, then it will be a lot easier. devotion acts like a*X where a is devotion and X is the number of chants. so devotion can multiply the results in your favor several times. actually i think this is wrong. let me see. the equation of success will be A^( b*X) –C where A is your devotion, b is your concentration and X is the number of chants, and C is the burden of sins you carry. If either your concentration or number of chants is zero then you will be left with devotion A –sinsC. What I mean to say is these numbers are relevant for people who are proficient sadhaks. For us good old number of 125000 or 50000 is good enough for our karya poorti. I think in absence of a better theory we can publish this. Matter closed________________________________problem solved successfully. Now I am going to tell you a joke to celebrate. Actually it is a religious joke. Have you heard of the name surinder shrama –of course-he is from haryana So there go the oft cricitzed malicious couplet from tulsi daas "dhol ganwaar shudra aru naaree yeh sab taaran ke adhikaari" here tullsidas says that dhol –beasts, ganwaar- rustic, shudra –low caste and naaree –woman these four are lowly creatures and in everyway deserve to be humiliated so now the joke: not me surinder shrama to his wife. main bolya - patni ji, is ke matlab kya hoye hain ki dhol ganwar shudra aru naari yeh sab taaran ke adhikaaree patni boli –is ke matlab to jee saaf hoye hain : is me ek me main aur teen me aap hoye hain again every language has its own beauty , but still – the meaning is very clear. In this couplet tulsidas refers to me once and three times to you, my dear. Ok now I vanish before I am beaten up. Jai gurudev Anu One more joke only for anurag because he is haryanvi by birth and me by domicile. (no translations ) Surinder Sharma says that the only culture in our haryana is agriculture. And the joke For only haryanvi speakers One haryanvi was going on his cycle he went and being careless hit straight into a passerby woman. She said "tene sharam nahin aave re, teri itti bari bari moocha ho ree, tene mere takkar maar dee" hryanewala bola "taayee moochha me ke break laag ree se" Ok I vanish. But sometimes you get solutions and answers, which are more difficult to understand than the problem, so you are left at the same spot with an entangled bundle trying to make head or tail, or to find the beginning or the end or what exactly is this leading to?:-) may be a bit busy, so if there are any messages (communications intended for me) please send them to my mail box, I always answer all my mail. Guest guest
Sir, Jai Gurudev The siddhi of the astakshara mantra is 8 lakhs.but one lakhs willalso fullfil your work it is better to do kaalik purascharana if count is not known as grahan where how long is imp and not the count. if you are not sure of success then disciples of Swami Nikhileswarananda Ji can give Samput of this mantra " OM NAMO NIKHILESWARANANDAYA" rwest can give Samput of the name or name mantras of their respected revered Gurudevs. In Kaliyug this is the most powerful method of sure and easy siddhi .
