Guest guest
If I could make a comment as a lurker, but as one interested in Tantra: 1- As someone residing in the U.S., I am hesistant to order anything from the ashram. The prices seem too high for there to be poor customer service. The international prices convert to quite a bit in Indian rupees, so obviously money is not a problem in hiring the adequate help. 2- The MYTV website fails to mention anything about getting rid of the ego or attaining self-realization. The focus (appears to be) mainly on performing prayogas (rituals for a purpose) mislabeled as "sadhanas". 3- The website is misleading in not providing accurate or reasonable shipping times. (again, poor customer service). In other words, it's like displaying neat things in the store front window to get your attention. 4- I appreciate all the online information, including the audio files, but to truly spread Tantra, I think there should be translations of the texts, and inclusion of other factors to support the success of a sadhana (prayoga). Otherwise, it seems like ,"Hey, get initiation of the mantra, use the right articles, and wow, you get this desired effect." The articles are too expensive to keep doing the same sadhana (if not successful), if one kept throwing the articles in a river. 5- Like worshipping too many forms of God, displaying so many sadhanas or attempting too many can be a distraction to developing Faith in God/guru. 6- The delay in receiving an order of sadhana materials: Many times people turn to a prayog/sadhana when a crisis occurs. Waiting even a month means lost time to do the sadhana to bring relief.
