Guest guest Posted October 27, 2002 Report Share Posted October 27, 2002 my understanding is when the enlightened ones have to go they go according to their own will and they make their death look an ordinary one. as their life their death is also a mysterious one. one wants to see ordinary can see ordinary. one who wants to see exra-ordinary can see extra-ordinary. poison of course can kill. Now it depends on shankrachrya ji whether he allows the poison to do his work or not. Padampad gave the poison to kill him. so irrespective of what shankrachryaji does padampad is as guilty as murderer. Shankaracharyaji wanted to go thats why he allowed poison to work. There can be other reasons for allowing posion to work too.
