Guest guest
I have to thank the members of this group, especially the leaders, who with their never ending personal problems have shown me the real value (=0) of this knowledge. I have decided to take refuge with Buddha and transform myself to benefit others, instead of taking a Hindu name. It seems in this world that most Hindus are too concerned with their own personal problems and have lost the greater picture of benefitting humanity and self development. So thanks to you all. So thanks to you all. tripura joe, please dont forget that buddha was an indian muni, he is called the sakhya muni, the buddhism spread to tibet/china.... from people coming all over asia and learning and taking back to their own countries, you might be aware of all these things, i just didnt wanted to write this, but couldnt help from writing it, besides what is wrong with having personal problem, having personal problems teaches you humanity, if no one is suffering, does humanity make sense? for example if you take buddha and the condition that led to forsaking his kingdom and becoming renunciate, is it not the suffering of the common man, that caused it... this world is made up of common man, except for few realised persons, the whole world is having its own set of domestic/personal/social problems,w3hat is the use of spiritualism, if it dosent address the needs of the common man? who would think of God, if he is unable to support himself, there are two ways of solving the problem, either you avoid getting into it,or once you got it find a cure and then start avoiding it, believe me US ,life style is different from indian, but you have to understand that if you undergo the turmoil, you will understand what turmoil, its same way as telling to find the depth of the water, you have to get into it, there is no way out. i know that you are unable to relate to peoples problem, which is perfectly understandable, but you have to understand that there are 2 ways of acheiving realisation 1) by being a house holder and the 2) by being a sannaysin(monk). but monks perspective of the world is kind of different.. you have to understand that Dr shrimaliji, was a house holder and his sadhanas are householder related , besides catering to self development... he could be a monk when he is in himalayas, but why had he to come back as a house holder??? the catch is that you have to be an house holder to be able to understand and sympathise with them... i put my reply in hapazard way, really sorry iam in hurry. if you have any thing related to self development we can discuss, you can start, i bet you will enjoy the discussion in quality and quantity. God bless you Jai Gurudev
Guest guest
Hi, I am happy to hear this. Atleast one mis-illusioned person is leaving the group. Serving the humanity is a very great ideal. But it begins with understanding human emotions and problems. Problems are everywhere for real. One who escapes the problems for taking refuge elsewhere seems to be the biggest personal problem. For me(us) every noble person (budha/jesus/allah) is in my(our)hearts. We do not need to go elsewhere to seek solace. We should seek that inwards, not by change of religion, external rituals or appearance. bid you goodbye. , "Dashiki Djibouti" <dashiki_djibouti@h...> wrote: > I have to thank the members of this group, especially the leaders, who with > their never ending personal problems have shown me the real value (=0) of > this knowledge.
