vaak chaturya

I took a maun vrat yesterday for a few months, and today this book

fell on my head when I was going through a heap of papers. So here is

the vaak chaturya prayog.

When to do? Can be done from 15 days before basant, or any navratri.

Besides that any Friday morning

What is required? 1 raag mani, three trichakras, 1 hakeek mala,

Deepak, mango leaves, agarbatti, water in a copper tumbler

Spread white cloth on a wooden stool, spread mango leaves on it and

then place place the three trichakras on the leaves. Keep the raag

mani in copper plate. Light the Deepak, incense and then chant

Aum Gloom Kloom Hroom Hum

(11 malas)

this is a tantrik sadhana. That said there are only tow kind of

successful sadhaks I have seen. One who perform anusthaans, and two

who chant lesser –say 5 mala- but on regular basis and follow niyam.

A third kind too who have a lot of devotion and whatever they do

succeeds immediately.

So my advice still would be that do this prayog, but multiply the

effect by chanting saraswati mantra. And break this vaak chaturya in

to pieces.

To be an impressive orator you need to work on three aspects

1) assuming basic intelligence clarity of thoughts needs to be

acquired. The solution is reading and thinking. What works best is

not accessible to all – company of an illuminated soul.

2) mastering a language or the language. Again the solution is

reading, listening and speaking. I agree with biru bhaiyya on this

issue. One should work on first getting the grammar right and then

worry about improving vocabulary. Clarity of expression can be

achived by simple words as well.

3) use antar chetna I was once told by an illuminated soul

perhaps not pertaining to winning arguments but giving gyaan to

people.

"Agar tum kisi ko gyaan dena chao, jo tuhen lage uske hit me

hai aur tum chahte ho ki woh use apna le to yeh tabhi asar kar sakta

hai jab us gyaan dene me tere aham ki boo na ho. Aise bolo jaise yeh

tere shabad hi nahin hai aur apne aap andar hi andar prerna ho rahi

hai aur shabd mukh se nikalte ja rahe hai. Tabhi us ka labh hoga.

Varna sab vyarth hai."

If you wish to give wisdom to another person and feel what you are

saying is in his welfare, you will only be able to give if you can

keep your ego aside and not let it spread stench around. Speak as if

the words are not your own, surrender your self to the supreme, and

you will be surprised by how much good you can do.

I was much surprised by this being told to me as I had no intention

of giving gyaan to anyone, and neither do I have it in the first

place. But I make this mistake often here – in speaking my ego flares

up all the time and even though what I have said in the person's

welfare (I THINK!), it is lost. So surrender yourself to the supreme

invite saraswati to sit on your tongue and speak extempore. Winning

arguments will then be no big deal and you will win them without a

heated debate.

that is why i quoted:

jo sumiraheen shaarda bhavaani kanth sudha ras amrit baani

Jai gurudev

anu
