Guest guest
Manuj sent me query about horoscope matching and about guna matching (27 points etc). Of course it interests all of us who intend to marry. I am just giving question answers a got when I ran a search in http://www.astroexpert.com/Other/ListPleaseExplain.asp and here are the answers. Q>>>> I did a compatibility report and got NADI, Boy & Girl both Madhya, point 0/8 and it said NADI finds out the biological and physiological & the charts are incompatible from that angle. I don't exactly understand what that means, biologically and physiologically incompatible- what does that mean? my date of birth 6/2/62, 10:37pm..sorry I forgot what other info you need... A>>> Don't rely too much on the koota method of compatibility for marriage. All of these are based on the natal moon and while important, if the natal moon is weak or otherwise 'confined' all indications based on it as a reference point become null and void. Even when using it as an ascendant, for instance, Satyacharya and others advise one to look at the strength before going out and buying all stocks for this one company (!). There is sadly a tendency to exaggerate a given technique or reference point and while this may be true, the fact that it varies over time makes one wonder if it is not more like the 'flavour of the month' phenomenon. Moon is a great help when no other data are available but when other data are available, try not to take the short cut. The same is true for stuff like gandanta births, moolas and nadis etc. If you must take a shortcut then focus on the rashi, navamsha, kalatrakaraka and venus. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Q>>>> does matching of horoscope really carry any meaning?i have found a couple who in life are not compatible but horoscope matches perfectly(27 points).why? A>> Your innocence is now destroyed, hopefully for life. Welcome to the club of light :-) The problem is not with the process of matching but one due to limited matching. The koota nirnaya are based on the natal moon and is but one factor to be considered. There are other factors in horoscopes which obviously have a say in this matter. Since you know the couple, why not do reverse engineering for your learning. See if the areas that are afflicted in their marriage are reflected in their charts. Then see if those planets etc are related with marriage or in navamsha. You would be doing the reverse of the process that one should be doing in a pre-nuptial match. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Q>>> HOW TO NEUTRALISE THE MARTIAL BLEMISH? A>> find a matching horoscope with the spouse having mars in the same house as you, failing this saturn in same spot as mars in yours and failing even that mars or saturn in 12, 1, 2, 4, 7, 8 houses. One 'non-classical' pointer: saturn in one horoscope must not aspect the mars in the other and vice versa. For instance, if A has saturn in 2nd house and B has mars in 4th house, the combination will affect both. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ But here is the answer which gives my view on the whole issue. Q>>> Is it possible to change the fate of an astrologically ill matched marriage , by prayer or puja, or mantra, when the two partners are in love ? A>> If love is real and really there, then obviously the other 'matching' was done in a flawed way, hain na?
