Shree Modak has been described in the book "Beauty - A joy For Ever" by Revered

Gurudev Dr Shrimali.

Below are some excerpts.

Shree Modak is made by mixing different herbs in definite proportions and

consumption of this preparation definitely results

in rejuvenation of the whole body and the person remains young and beautiful throughout life.

When Rambha tried to enchant the sage Vishwamitra and disrupt his Sadhana, she

was turned into an ugly woman by the sage.

After praying to the sage to return her charms, Vishwamitra had pity on her and

directed her to the divine physicians, the twins Ashwini Kumars. The twins

administered her this very prescription, Shree Modak, consuming which she

regained her youthful grace, her charms and her glowing skins.

This unique medicine bears the property of rejuvenation of the whole body and

purification of the blood. With consumption of this medicine the old skin is

shed off and a new skin takes its place and a beautiful glow then starts

emanating from the body.

Six herbs are needed for this preparation ;

1.Vasuki Amla, 2.Indrabach, 3. Kalpantika; 4.Virabhuti; 5.Ashvagandh and 6.Girjar.
